First Aid
First Aid is also a very important thing to think about. If we are in a build or breakdown phase of a show then we are all technically work in a construction environment and as such must cover with appropriately skilled personnel.

Both Matthew and Marc are FREC 3 trained first aiders with qualifications in Oxygen therapy and AED use.

When on site we will bring a full first aid kit and AED
First Aid when working in a temporary or green field site where public are involved requires a different approach with legal requirements which will be examined at licencing stage. The main requirement is for an onsite dedicated response to any emergency.

There are recommended levels of first aiders required on site dependant on the number of patrons and staff you have on site at anytime. There is also a requirement for a first aid post clearly sign posted and in communications with Command and Control and stewards on the ground.
Because this is such a specialist requirements we use a contractor who will ensure that training, equipment and vehicles are up to standard and where necessary inspection by statutory bodies such as the Quality Care Commission are completed to satisfactory levels
