Temporary Event Power

images.jpg

Event power needs to be resilient. The system has to stand up to rain, over load, faults and even malicious attacks. As a rule we bring a stand by generator and we drill for generator failure. We aim to have house lights basic stage lighting and sound back running in 4 minutes and a full show running in ten minutes from main generator failure

For all events all departments come together for at least one pre production meeting. The power team will take the lighting and sound designs along with all the their requirements for power such as catering, site lighting and staff living areas and they will decide the maximum load required and therefore the size of generator required.

Site visit will decide lengths of cable run required and what size and number of power distribution points are required.

We will use either our own equipment of cross hire in from one of several hire companies at the favourable rates we have negotiated. We can bring small 3KVA petrol generators to 500KVA 3 phase silent sets and arrange fuel from either towable bowsers to stationary auxiliary fuel cubes connected to generators
